Museum, Relationship Artifacts, Breakups, Worldwide
The Museum of Broken Relationships grew from a traveling exhibition about the concept of failed relationships and their artifacts. Unlike ‘destructive’ self-help instructions for recovery from failed loves, the museum offers a chance to overcome an emotional collapse through creation: by contributing to the collection. Each exhibit is showcased with its title, the duration/dates of the relationship, city/country of origin and the accompanying story.
After a 25 city tour, the first permanent space in opened in Zagreb, Croatia, and the second location is newly opened (June 2016) in Los Angeles.
Tickets: $18 General Admission, $15 Students with I.D. & $15 Seniors (65+). Validated parking for $2 for 2 hours at the big Hollywood & Highland center.
