In creating this collection we wanted to capture the range of large theaters and dive bars, a diversity of performance styles, and various vibes that reflect the creative humor Los Angeles has to offer. From political comedy at iO West, and stand-up on the Eastside, to Shitty Jobs inspired improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade, be prepared to treat yourself to a night of laughter and comedy in Los Angeles. Hosted by Kurt Braunohler and Kristen Schaal, Hot Tub is a weekly variety show that features comedy from today's best comics, music artists and the occasional oddity. It's a wet jubilee! (of comedy). After several successful years in New York City, the show began its LA run at The Virgil in January 2013. Past guests include Cameron Esposito, Sara Schaefer, Ian Karmel, Baron Vaughn, and Kate Berlant.

The Business LA is a free weekly stand-up show hosted by Daymaker favorites Chris Garcia, Sean Keane, Anna Seregina, Bucky Sinister & Megan Koester. The show was started by members of The Business SF after moving to Los Angeles, looking to continue the legacy of the favorite pre-tech bubble #SF comedy scene right here in Echo Park. In addition to stand-up comic guests, the show will periodically feature authors, storytellers, musicians, and more. There's often a Taco Truck parked outside too!

Caitlin Gill has performed for Flophouse on Viceland, at the Oddball Comedy Tour, SF Sketchfest, and in some of the best comedy clubs in the nation. Convoy is a fast-paced three-man improv show that takes its name from everyone's favorite song by C.W. McCall. They create 30 minutes worth of rapid fire, stream of consciousness scenes that keep moving forwards like a caravan of 18 wheelers racing towards the border.

ASSSSCAT is the Upright Citizens Brigade's improv juggernaut that has played to critical acclaim and sold out audiences across the country. It starts with a group of improv comedians accompanied by a special guest monologist. They take a suggestion from the audience that prompts a series of high octane, balls-to-the-wall improvised sketches.

Admission is free and people lineup early to get a spot so we suggest arriving an hour before the 7pm showtime for good odds. Warning: There is a chance you won't get in if the line is too long.
